Dr. Morehouse has a long history working with the transgender community. We respect every individual's right to choose their gender identification. We're also discreet and knowledgeable about the issues transgendered individuals deal with in everyday life.

While we don't perform sexual reassignment surgery, we do offer simple mastectomy for FTM and breast augmentation, tracheal shaving, and orchiectomy for MTF. We also offer liposuction and fat transfer injections for moderate body sculpting effects. Our goal is to help you look on the outside the way you envision your body image in your mind's eye. And we strive to do this in a compassionate, understanding environment.

For simple mastectomy clients, we require that you have had normal mammograms if you're over age 40, and we will send your breast tissue for pathological examination post-surgically (which will result in additional expense). Those under age 40 with no family history of breast cancer need not have a mammogram performed or have their tissue sent for pathology.

For breast augmentation clients, we offer you the choice of saline or silicone implants and will work closely with you to achieve exactly the look you desire. Whether you want natural-looking breasts for your frame size or you want breasts that truly announce themselves, we're happy to accommodate your needs.

We generally serve transgendered individuals who've been living the lifestyle and taking hormones for some length of time. We want you to be certain of your choice before undergoing surgery. We generally don't require you to undergo any sort of therapy or counseling before surgery.

We perform all of our male-to-female and female-to-male surgical procedures in-house for your privacy and comfort. Our operating rooms are AAAASF-certified, and our staff members are highly skilled in providing pre-, intra-, and post-operative care to our transgendered clients. Our all-inclusive fees cover everything you'll need for your procedure, including a post-operative garment. The only out-of-pocket cost you can expect will be for between one and three prescription medications, all of which are available as generics, and surgical pathology fees, if applicable.
