Dermaplaning
Controlled surgical sanding of the upper layer of the epidermis can smooth irregularities of the skin. In general, dermaplaning can treat deeper imperfections such as acne scars. This non-chemical approach may be preferred for individuals with slightly darker skin to avoid skin pigmentation problems, especially when treating limited areas of the face.
